Proper nutrition through a balanced diet and appropriate food supplementation lays a great foundation for health. But it will only take you so far.
For optimal health, regular exercise is a must. Although "regular" is much easier said than done.
Even though most people recognize the need for exercise, making and keeping an exercise habit is challenging for a lot of us. Here are a few tips to help you develop this essential habit.

Make It Fun

There’s no one “right” way to get your exercise, so don’t feel like you have to lift weights or run for miles each day. Exercise can be anything from walking briskly around your neighborhood to dancing in your living room. 
If you don’t like doing certain activities, calling it “exercise” won’t make it any easier. In fact, you’ll be even less likely to keep at it. Find an activity that you enjoy and stick with it.

Start Small

Most people jump right into their next fitness routine and go full bore for 45 minutes to an hour, and then within a week they’ve already given up because they’re too tired, sore and miserable to want to do it again.
Don’t let this happen to you! Ideally, you’ll want to exercise for 20-30 minutes a day. When you’re first starting out, however, go for 10 minutes at a time.  Set smaller, near-term goals that you know you can reach to build your confidence and your stamina. As you become more accustomed to regular activity, increase you workload accordingly. 

Reward Showing Up

Whether it’s a quiet soak in the tub, a night out, or a sweet snack—don’t go overboard here—you’ll want to incentivize your exercise routine by rewarding yourself with a special treat. At first you might set rewards just for having exercised.
As you get into your habit, reward yourself for reaching certain milestones or achievements.

Schedule Exercise for Quiet Time:

Make exercise a priority by scheduling it for times with minimal distractions. If you know your friend usually calls around 6 p.m. and that they’ll talk for an hour while you work on getting dinner ready and help the kids finish their homework, then don’t schedule your exercise for 6:15. 
Things will always come up—that’s just part of life—but by limiting interruptions, you’ll greatly increase your chances of sticking to your habit.

We’ve all heard that misery loves company. Well success does, too. Finding someone to exercise 
       with, whether it’s your spouse, a friend, or even your kids, is a great way to strengthen your        commitment. Developing any good habit—not just exercise—can be a challenge, but having a plan makes it

About half of all women will have the uncomfortable experience of dealing with a bladder infection (cystitis) or urinary tract infection (UTI) at least once in their lifetime.
These types of infections are very common, mainly because of a woman’s unique biology (her urethra is only 1.5 inches long) allows bacteria to easily migrate toward the bladder.
Since recurring bladder infections can lead to kidney infections, which can cause permanent damage, it’s important to take action, and when necessary, seek proper medical care.

6 steps to help prevent bladder and urinary tract infections


1. UTIs are the second most common type of infection in the body, accounting for roughly 8.1 million visits to the doctor each year. Most UTIs are caused by E. coli bacteria, which can be introduced to the urinary tract through improper hygiene habits or as a result of physical intimacy. Proper bathroom techniques, including thorough cleaning after each bowel movement and wiping from front to back, can help prevent harmful bacteria from entering the urinary tract. Also, emptying your bladder after intercourse helps expel bacteria that may have entered the urethra.

2. Watch for signs. Symptoms of a urinary system infection can include:
pain or burning during urination
the frequent urge to urinate without much success
a tender or heavy feeling in your belly
cloudy or foul-smelling urine
pain on one side of your back under your ribs (kidneys)
fever and chills
nausea and vomiting

3. Are you at a higher risk? Women who have diabetes or are pregnant are at a greater risk for contracting a UTI. In pregnant women, the fetus typically presses on the bladder, making it difficult to empty it completely. Stagnant urine left in the bladder is a ripe breeding ground for bacteria. Your risk also increases if you are dehydrated. So drink plenty of water every day to help the urinary system continue to flush toxins properly.

4. Cranberry is your friend. We have used cranberries to support the urinary system for hundreds of years. Modern research confirms the value of their ancient remedies. Controlled studies show that cranberry juice helps to acidify the urine, which may make it difficult for bacteria to thrive. Cranberry juice also contains a high level hippuric acid, which slows or prevents the growth of E. coli and helps keep bacteria from sticking to the inside walls of the bladder. Buy Organic

Organic vegetables are not allowed to be sprayed with chemical pesticides, so they are less likely to have any on them.  You will bypass these potential chemical pesticide health risks when you buy correctly grown organic produce.  

 Wash Your Produce even if it is organic

It won’t get rid of all of it as some is absorbed by the plants, but it will help. Use warm water and wash it the same way you would wash your hands with light scrubbing.  Or if you have time wash it in a small bowl with  warm water with a small amout of salt added.

Peel Non-Organic Produce

Due to spraying, pesticide residues are likely to end up closest to the surface of the produce, so by peeling it you can remove the area most likely to be affected.

Grow your own if you can... When you grow your own, you have control over what goes in the soil and what gets sprayed on your plants. So you can be sure to have pesticide-free vegetables/fruit.
